Volunteering
It is not necessary to have experienced Childhood Sexual Abuse to be a volunteer for SACA, indeed it may be better if you are not. You may just want to contribute to making services more available and affordable for Survivors.
SACA counsellors are committed to the work that we do and it is there that we use the skills that we possess. But an organisation needs people with many skills, abilities and enthusiasms. You may be someone who enjoys working quietly behind the scenes, distibuting leaflets, designing websites, researching, getting printing done, publicity and /or fundraising. Maybe you are Committe person or have good organisational skills and can 'to get things done'. You may have experience or none in this field of work or know about charity work and law.
The most important thing of course is that you must care about the work that we as professionals do and have a desire to support us and make a difference, however small to the lives of Survivors of Childhood Sexual Abuse.
If you think you have skills we can use we would love to hear from you.
